Kurtha #6

         This kurtha were sewn by using left over fabric .Both the fabric are lining fabric of different chudidhar material.Floral pattern are  used in the front neckline.It seems like flat beans flower for me.

Lehenga choli

             Today,My younger sister K's birthday .Wish you Happy Birthday  dear.I made Lehenga choli for her.
            As because of I was not feeling well for the past 5 days.I have no time for shopping.So I managed to sew  this  lehanga choli using chudidhar material.Lesson learnt from this never do last minute shopping for any occasion.Here is the cool snaps of the Lehanga choli.
              Features of this dress,For choli, border on the neckline using skirt fabric,patch work on sleeve and bottom  of the choli.
              For Lehenga,pencil skirt from waist to seat and then seat to knee six panel skirt.

Glass Painting and Tile Painting

          From left to right ,First one parrot glass painting made by my sister's friend.she learnt from me and drew this painting and gifted to my sister.
          The remaing glass painting were painted by me.Second,tiles painting. .Third,Lord Krishna,glass painting using fabric color.Fourth,fish,glass painting.Last,Two dog,glass painting using fabric color.I will update the individual picture of the glass painting soon.

Designer blouse#3

                  My diwali blouse ,Features of this blouse ,princess seam ,puff sleeve with more fullness,white border on neckline and sleeve ,here I am using satin ribbon .Back hook  this is my first attempt.Bought this saree from Vijay's in Parrys corner.

Rose Garland

I made this Rose garland 2 years back using satin ribbon .

Here is the tutorial of how to make these rose using satin ribbon.

1.Take a satin ribbon and roll the ribbon to make a swirl.Using needle and thread make a stitch ,so that it will be easy to make (1 image)
2.Fold the ribbon on the reverse side of swirl .It will look like triangle shape and roll until the end of the triangle.(2 image).
3.Again fold the ribbon on the reverse side where you stopped to  roll and  make a triangle shape and then roll (3 image).Repeat the step until  you get the desired shape of rose(4 & 5 image).
4.Stitch the petals and cut the remaining ribbon.(6 image)  .

Designer blouse #2

                This designer blouse is for my elder sister  made for this diwali.Bought this saree from Kalanikethan gifted by my younger sister.She loves this color and the material.I planned to make this one as a unique design .yes, the blouse attracted by everyone,when she wore during diwali.
                Features of this blouse ,jari border on the back neckline ,on the back side i also made a stitch on the wrong side of the blouse material of equal inetrval of 1/4" from the neckline to peacock design.The same design attached in the middle of the sleeve along with one peacock.

Designer blouse with petal sleeve

                The designer blouse made for my younger sister for this diwali.Bought this saree from Vijays in parrys corner.could you guess the price of the saree?cost Rs.260 only.No one agree the price of the saree,because of  the blouse and the design of the saree .
               Features of this blouse design is petal sleeve with contrast color piping and two hanging  bead work on the center of the sleeve.On the backside of the blouse I stitched 1 inch strips of the golden color to make the above design and made rose using the blouse material .

Wax art

Wax dollar for chain.
1.For this we need wax,mould (I use circular mould),a petal of any flower.
2.Apply oil on the mould,place the petal on the mould.
3.Heat wax ,when it is completely melted.
4.pour wax into the mould.put hole on that wax refer the image .Let it be cool.Take it out  from the mould .
            



Skirt and Shirt(kids)

       This is the first time I stitched dress for kids.This dress is for my cousin's daughter.I will update the tutorial soon.







Rug or Mat

1.Take any cotton cloth and cut 1 inch strips.
2.Take 3 strips of the same color or different color and stitch together ,start braiding those strips.If you are out  of  cloth ,then attach strips ,start braiding,till u get desired length.


3.Using the braided strips,start looping from the center and form a circle,then machine stitch the rug like the below figure.

Kurtha#5

 Design using zari border on neck ,hand and hip.


              Below the hip I did  wave stitch.For this,fold right side of the cloth together and stitch by 1/4" with equal interval of 1/4" until u get desired length.Then from left side of the cloth ,stitch all the folded cloth in upward direction,then after 1 1/2",stitch all the folded cloth in downward direction ,continue vice versa until u get desired width of the kurtha .

Kurtha#4

For this,I used leftover chudidhar material.
               For that spiral design in the bottom of th kurtha,I placed crimson color on the wrong side of the kurtha and stitch like a spiral and cut the upper part in between the stitches about 1/4"
I also attached 2" crimson color stripes on the middle of the sleeve.

Kurtha #3

          To make this cute kurtha ,I used leftover cloth from a chudidhar material for the body, for sleeve, I used white leggings,becauase it had yellow strain in that, it couldn't  be remove,so i cut the legin for sleeve and design.

        To make this ruffle,cut bias stripes about 3" and sew them right side together ,each piece overlapping 1/4".

          To make this floral design cut the cloth 1.25",1.5",2" diameter circle.Arrange  2"circle first,then 1.5" and 1.25" circle ,stitch with kurtha along the beats for stamen.follow the same instruction for the remaining 2 flower.

Mobile Pouch#1

                 This is my first experience in knitting.I learnt this from youtube.I used US:2 needles for this work.I did knit and purl stitch alternatively to finish this pouch.Even though its not perfect.I am satisified in my work.Because before that i didn't know A,B,C,D in knitting.
